Ein Erasmus+-Projekt zur Förderung sexueller Gesundheitsbildung, Konsens und gesunden Beziehungen im digitalen Zeitalter.

Soziale Medien prägen zunehmend, wie junge Menschen Informationen über Beziehungen und Sexualität erhalten. Besonders Plattformen wie TikTok bieten schnellen Zugang zu Inhalten, bergen jedoch gleichzeitig erhebliche Risiken: Desinformation, stereotype Rollenbilder, problematische Trends und fehlende wissenschaftliche Grundlagen können junge Menschen negativ beeinflussen. Tok About It setzt genau hier an und unterstützt junge Menschen dabei, digitale Inhalte kritisch zu hinterfragen, verantwortungsvoll mit Informationen umzugehen und eine gesunde, respektvolle und inklusive Haltung zu Sexualität und Beziehungen zu entwickeln.

Ziel des Projekts ist es, junge Erwachsene im Alter von 18 bis 22 Jahren zu Jugendbotschafter*innen auszubilden, die evidenzbasierte Workshops zu Themen wie Konsens, gesunde Beziehungen, sexuelle Gesundheit, Vielfalt und digitale Medienkompetenz durchführen. Gleichzeitig lernen die Teilnehmenden, sichere und faktenbasierte Inhalte für TikTok und andere soziale Medien zu entwickeln, um Fehlinformationen aktiv entgegenzuwirken.

Kernstück des Projekts ist ein gemeinsam entwickeltes Lehr- und Trainingskonzept auf Grundlage internationaler Standards der WHO und UNESCO. In nationalen Trainings werden junge Menschen befähigt, Workshops in Jugendzentren und Jugendgruppen durchzuführen sowie digitale Kampagnen und TikTok-Videos zu gestalten. Im Rahmen des Projekts werden 40 Jugendbotschafter*innen europaweit ausgebildet und insgesamt 180 junge Menschen durch Workshops erreicht. Zusätzlich entstehen 24 TikTok-Videos, die sichere, inklusive und wissenschaftlich fundierte Botschaften zu sexueller Gesundheit und digitalen Risiken verbreiten. Ein weiterer zentraler Bestandteil ist die Entwicklung eines Youth Digital Sexual Health Guide – eines praxisorientierten Leitfadens für Jugendorganisationen, Fachkräfte und junge Menschen. Dieser bündelt Methoden, Lernmaterialien und bewährte Praktiken, um die Projektergebnisse langfristig nutzbar zu machen. Tok About It verbindet analoge Jugendbildung mit digitaler Medienarbeit und stärkt junge Menschen darin, verantwortungsbewusst, selbstbestimmt und kritisch in digitalen Räumen zu handeln. Gleichzeitig fördert das Projekt aktive Teilhabe, Respekt, Inklusion und europäische Zusammenarbeit.

Durch gezielte Verbreitungs- und Nachhaltigkeitsmaßnahmen stellt Tok About It sicher, dass die entwickelten Materialien und Methoden langfristig in der europäischen Jugendarbeit genutzt werden können.

An Erasmus+ project on sexual health, consent, and healthy relationships in the digital age.

Social media increasingly shapes how young people access information about relationships, sexuality, and health. Platforms such as TikTok provide fast and accessible content but also present significant risks: misinformation, stereotypical narratives, harmful trends, and the lack of evidence-based guidance can negatively influence young people's understanding of intimacy, consent, and well-being. Tok About It responds directly to these challenges by supporting young people in critically assessing digital content, engaging responsibly with online information, and developing healthy, respectful, and inclusive attitudes towards sexuality and relationships.

The aim of the project is to train young adults aged 18 to 22 as Peer Educators who will deliver evidence-based workshops on topics such as consent, healthy relationships, sexual health, diversity, and digital media literacy. At the same time, participants will learn how to create safe and fact-based content for TikTok and other social media platforms in order to actively counter misinformation.

At the heart of the project is a co-created peer education curriculum based on international WHO and UNESCO standards. Through national training activities, young people will gain the competences to facilitate workshops in youth centres and youth groups while also designing digital campaigns and TikTok videos. During the project, 40 Peer Educators will be trained, and a total of 180 young people will participate in workshops across the partner countries. In addition, 24 TikTok videos will be created to promote safe, inclusive, and evidence-based messages on sexual health and digital risks. Another key outcome is the development of the Youth Digital Sexual Health Guide – a practical resource for youth organisations, educators, and young people. The guide will collect methods, learning materials, and good practices to ensure the long-term sustainability and transferability of the project results. Tok About It combines offline youth work with digital media engagement and empowers young people to act responsibly, confidently, and critically within digital spaces. At the same time, the project promotes active participation, respect, inclusion, and European cooperation.

Through targeted dissemination and sustainability measures, Tok About It ensures that the developed resources and methodologies can continue to support youth work practices across Europe in the long term.
